Chargers Cut Three More Players Including RB Donald Brown

The San Diego Chargers announced that they’ve released three more players on Thursday including RB Donald Brown, LB Kavell Conner and LB Chi Chi Ariguzo.

Brown, 28, had one  year remaining on his three-year, $10.5 million contract that included $4 million guaranteed. He was set to a make base salary pf $3 million for the 2016 season.

According to OverTheCap.com, releasing these three players will free up just under $4.9 million in available cap space while creating less than $100,000 in dead money.

In 2015, Brown appeared in 10 games and ran for 229 yards on 59 carries (3.9 YPC) to go along with eight receptions for 88 yards receiving and one total touchdown.
