The Kansas City Chiefs officially claimed LB Reshard Cliett off of waivers from the Titans on Tuesday.
Cliett, 25, was taken with the No. 211 overall pick in the sixth round of the 2015 NFL draft by the Texans. He was in the second year of his four-year, $2,370,484 contract when the Texans elected to waive him last year as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players.
Cliett bounced around a bit, playing for the Broncos, Jets and Cardinals before signing a future/reserve contract with the Titans this past January. Unfortunately, Tennessee cut him loose on Monday.
During his college career at South Florida, Cliett recorded 134 tackles, seven sacks, two fumble recoveries and seven pass defenses over the course of four seasons
