Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Colts are hosting free agent S Shamarko Thomas on a visit Wednesday.
A recent report mentioned that the Colts could show interest in some safeties this week after placing Malik Hooker and Clayton Geathers on the PUP list to open training camp.
This is the first reported interest in Thomas since the free agent market opened back in March.
Thomas, 27, is a former fourth-round pick of the Steelers back in 2013. He played out the final year of his four-year, $2,613,152 rookie contract with the Steelers and before signing on with the Jets last summer.
Unfortunately, New York elected to cut him loose coming out of the preseason and he eventually caught on with the Bills.
In 2017, Thomas appeared in 12 games and recorded nine tackles and no interceptions.
