The Colts announced the signing of third-round pick WR Donte Moncrief to a four-year contract.
Indianapolis has now locked up their entire 2014 draft class with this signing.
Moncrief’s four-year contract is worth an estimated $2,793,520 and includes a signing bonus of $543,520, according to OverTheCap.com.
At Mississippi, started 38 games and caught 156 receptions for 2,371 yards receiving and 20 touchdowns over the course of three seasons.
He offers good size 6-foot-2 as well as plenty of speed given that he ran a forty time of 4.4 at this year’s Scouting Combine. It will be interesting to see if he’s able to impress the coaching staff in OTAs and training camp because Colts receiving corps is actually pretty deep right now and playing time could be hard to come by for the rookie.
