โ€œDecent Chanceโ€ Rams Sign CB Kayvon Webster

Cameron Wolfe spoke with free agent CB Kayvon Webster, who mentioned that his visit with the Rams is โ€œgoing well.โ€

According to Wolfe, thereโ€™s a โ€œdecent chanceโ€ Webster ends up reuniting with his former DC Wade Phillips and takes on a larger role with the Rams.

All indications have been that the Rams are a serious suitor for Webster and he is likely to end up in Los Angeles, so it wonโ€™t come as a big surprise if theyโ€™re able to get a deal worked out in the near future.

Troy Renck previously mentioned that some of Websterโ€™s teammates believe he could be a starter for some team and itโ€™s possible that the Rams are willing to give him that shot.

Webster, 26, is a former third-round pick of the Broncos back in 2013. He has played out his four- year, $2,745,800 contract and is currently testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.

In 2016, Webster appeared in 13 games for the Broncos and recorded eight tackles, a pass defense and no interceptions while being a large contributor on special teams.
