Eagles 7th-Round LB Joe Walker Out For Season With ACL Tear

Eagles HC Doug Pederson confirmed that LB Joe Walker does, in fact, have an ACL injury and will miss the 2016.

Les Bowen is reporting that Eagles seventh-round LB Joe Walker suffered a torn ACL during Thursday’s preseason game and will miss the entire 2016 season.

The Eagles will likely place Walker on injured reserve in the coming days and someone to their roster.

Walker, 23, was taken in the seventh-round of this year’s NFL draft. He signed a four-year, $2.557 million contract with the Eagles that included a $60,136 signing bonus and stands to make $450,000 for the 2016 season.

During his college career at Oregon, Walker recorded 205 tackles, five sacks, two fumble recoveries, an interception and a pass defense.
