Eagles Place QB Jerod Evans On Injured Reserve After Clearing Waivers

The Philadelphia Eagles officially placed QB Jerod Evans on injured reserve after passing through waivers unclaimed.

Evans, 23, wound up signing on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent last week. He recently suffered a foot injury and was waived with an injury designation on Monday.

During his one season at Virginia Tech, Evans threw for 3,552 yards while completing 63.5 percent of his passes to go along with 29 touchdowns and eight interceptions over the course of 14 games.
