Florida State WR Kelvin Benjamin Visiting Jets Thursday

Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports that Florida State WR Kelvin Benjamin is among the prospects visiting the Jets on Thursday.

  • Washington TE Austin Seferian-Jenkins will also be meeting with the team on Thursday.
  • He has already visited with the EaglesRavens and Patriots so far.

Mehta previously reported that the Jets are “very intrigued” by Benjamin, so it’s not all that surprising that they are bringing him in for a pre-draft visit.

Benjamin possesses exceptional size at 6-foot-5 and is considered by some to be a first-round talent.

Last year, Benjamin helped FSU win the National Championship, which was highlighted by his last second touchdown that sealed the deal.

He finished the year with 54 receptions for 1011 yards receiving and a staggering 15 touchdowns.

We have the Panthers taking Benjamin at No. 28 overall in our most recent 2014 NFL Mock Draft.
