Fred Jackson Has A “Very, Very Sore,” Calf

Rodney McKissic of the Buffalo News reports that Fred Jackson‘s calf is “very, very sore,” following Sunday’s loss to the Miami Dolphins.

Jackson left yesterday’s game after suffering the injury but X-ray’s  show that there are no broken bones in his right leg.

I’ll be all right. It’s just a bruise right now,” he said, according to the Associated Press. “I’ll get some treatment on it this week and see what happens.”

It’s hard to whether or not Jackson will be available for Week 12 at this point in time. Jackson’s ability to practice throughout the week will be monitored but it’s safe to assume that the Bills will at the very least consider using C.J. Spiller for Sunday’s game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
