Giants Lose WR Domenik Hixon For The Season

Ralph Vacchiano of the N.Y. Daily News reports that New York Giants WR Domenik Hixon has suffered another torn ACL and will be out for the remainder of the 2011 season.

It’s hard to believe that the Giants have lost as many players as they have and we’re only two weeks into the season. Mario Manningham suffered a concussion on Sunday as well and his status is still up in the air for week 3’s game. Hakeem Nicks was limited throughout last week and wound up playing. New York is going to have to look to the free agent market again now that Hixon is lost.
