Gregg Williams “Expected” To Join Fisher In St Louis

Peter King of NBC and Sports Illustrated reports that New Orleans Saints defensive coordinator Gregg Williams is “expected” to join Jeff Fisher in St Louis following the season.

The two worked together years ago while with the Tennessee Titans until Williams left for a head coaching position in Buffalo.

Williams told James Varney of the New Orleans Times-Picayune that  he would wait until after the Saints finish the season before speaking with Fisher about joining his staff with the Rams.

This is by no means a guarantee but should certainly be viewed as a distinct possibility.

Who would be on the Saints radar if Williams were to leave?

Two guys: Steve Spagnulou and Mike Nolan of Miami. Both would be good replacements but the Falcons are also in on them as well as so there’s some competition for them.
