Houston DT Ed Oliver Won’t Play In Bowl Game, Entering 2019 Draft

Houston DT Ed Oliver announced Friday that he’s officially declaring for the 2019 NFL Draft and won’t play in the team’s Bowl game.

Oliver was clearly going to leave school, so this doesn’t come as much of a surprise. The expectation is that Oliver will be a high first-round pick when all is said and down next year.

During his three-year college career at Houston, Oliver recorded 192 tackles, 53 tackles for a loss, 13.5 sacks, five forced fumbles, a recovery and 11 pass defenses over the course of 32 games.
