Jaguars Activate WR Ace Sanders, Waive Mickey Shuler

Ryan O’Halloran reports that the Jaguars have activated WR Ace Sanders from the non-football injury/illness list Saturday and subsequently waived TE Mickey Shuler to make room for him.

Sanders served a four-game suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy.

Jaguars HC Gus Bradley told reporters this expect that he expects Sanders to play against the Steelers this Sunday, so it will be interesting to see what kind of role he has in their offense.

Last year, he appeared in 15 games and recorded 51 receptions for 484 yards receiving and a touchdown. He also contirbuted as a kick-returner.
