Jaguars Signing LB Martrell Spaight

According to Aaron Wilson, the Jaguars are signing LB Martrell Spaight to a contract on Tuesday after he worked out for the team.

Spaight, 25, is a former fifth-round pick by the Redskins in the 2015 NFL Draft. He was entering the final year of his four-year, $2,517,948 contract when Washington waived him as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit.

The Dolphins signed Spaight to a contract a few weeks later, but was cut loose last week.

In 2018, Spaight has appeared in four games for the Dolphins and recorded one tackle.
