Jake Locker Expects To Start Week 5’s Game

Titans QB Jake Locker told reporters on Wednesday that he was able to do everything in practice and expects to start Sunday’s game against the Cleveland Browns, via Titans 247.

Head coach Ken Whisenhunt mentioend that he wants to see how Locker responds to today’s work before deciding Locker’s status for Week 5, via Titans 247.

Locker suffered a wrist injury during Week 3’s loss to the Bengals and underwent an MRI early next day. He has barely practice last week, but it appears as though he has progressed enough that there is at least a chance he’ll be back under center this weekend.

The Titans started veteran Charlie Whitehurst against the Colts, but they were unable to get much going throughout the game. Whitehurst finished the day 12-of-23 passes for 177 yards, one touchdown, and one interception.

We’ll have more updates regarding Locker’s status as the news is available.
