ESPN’s Field Yates reports that the Jets hosted LB Steve Beauharnais for a tryout on Friday.
Beauharnais, 24, was a seventh-round draft pick of the Patriots last year, but he was unable to make the team’s final roster last weekend as they cut their squad down to 53 players.
During his rookie season, Beauharnais appeared in two games and recorded a single tackle.
