The Detroit Lions announced that they’ve signed OT Luke Marquardt to a contract on Thursday.
Marquardt, 26, originally signed on with the 49ers as an undrafted free agent out of Azusa Pacific back in 2013. He unfortunately fractured his foot during his rookie season that led to him being placed on their injured reserve list.
The Jets signed Marquardt to a contract a few weeks before the draft, but his stay in New York was obviously short lived, as they cut him loose in early June.
Marquardt has yet to appear in an NFL game.
