New Team Showing Interest In WR Malcom Floyd?

Matt Barrows of the Sacramento Bee reports that the Philadelphia Eagles have entered the discuss with free agent WR Malcom Floyd.

It’s getting to the point where the Eagles are going to have trouble signing players to even one-year deals. Pro Football Talk posted some numbers for a few teams and the Eagles are have about $3.8 million to work with but this number does include a one-time, $3 million in extra space that teams can use for the 2011 season.

The Baltimore Ravens have shown interest in Floyd in recent days and would make sense for both sides. The Ravens could use a taller receiving option to go with Anquan Boldin and Torrey Smith.
