49ers

  • The 49ers had second-round pick RB Carlos Hyde returning kicks on Wednesday. (Bill Williamson)
  • OLB Corey Lemonier has had an impressive in camp and has displayed a “great burst.” (Bill Williamson)
  • Second-year DT Quentin Dial has put together a great training camp and could prove the be a steal for the 49ers. (Bill Williamson)

Bills

  • Fifth-round pick OL Cyril Richardson received some reps with the first team offense at right guard. (Mike Rodak)
  • The Bills have also have Kraig Urbik and Chris Hairston competing for the job, but Hairston left practice with a back injury. (Mike Rodak)
  • WR Chris Hogan continues to see “significant playing time” with the first-team offense and looks to be a “reliable player in the slot.” (Mike Rodak)

Buccaneers

Cardinals

  • CB Justin Bethel continues to work his way up the team’s depth chart. He saw time at “wide corner” in both the nickel and dime packages on Wednesday. (Josh Weinfuss)

Eagles

  • Eagles’ quarterbacks had “mixed success” with back-shoulder throws on Wednesday, even though it appeared to be an emphasis for the offense. (Phil Sheridan)

Jets

  • Jets quarterbacks Geno Smith, Michael Vick, Matt Simms and Tajh Boyd combined for five interceptions. (Rich Cimini)
  • Sixth-round pick QB Tajh Boyd is “having the kind of camp that gets players cut.” (Rich Cimini)
  • Second-round pick TE Jace Amarostruggled mightily” while dropping a pass and running wrong routes. (Rich Cimini)
