Front office execs and agents alike are all wondering why the Colts are waiting to sign QB Andrew Luck to a long-term contract.

Jason La Canfora points out that the Colts will saves both cash and cap space this season by waiting on a deal, but in the end, Luck’s asking price will only increase after another solid season.
