NFL Notes: Bills, Broncos & Packers

Bills

Broncos

  • Mike Klis of 9News writes that it appears as though the Broncos want first-round QB Paxton Lynch to play at some point this season.
  • However, Klis believes it would be an upset if Mark Sanchez isn’t their starter for the season opener.
  • Should CB Aqib Talib receive discipline from the NFL for the offseason incident in which he was shot in the leg, Klis expects Bradley Roby to fill in for him at left cornerb with Kayvon Webster taking over the nickel role.

Packers

  • Rob Demovsky of ESPN writes that “there’s almost no chance” of the Packers re-signing LT David Bakhtiari, LG Josh Sitton and RG T.J. Lang next year.
  • Demovsky mentions that Bakhtiari could target over $10 million per year on the open market as a free agent.
  • Green Bay traded up in round two for Jason Spriggs and Demovsky believes they “want him on the field sooner rather than later.”
