Former Redskins TE Chris Cooley indicated that he would consider returning to the NFL if an opportunity presented itself.
“If I went to camp, I could be anybody’s third tight end, worst case,” Cooley said, via the Washington Post. “I have no doubt. Any team in the NFL, I could be their third tight end. There’s not a question in my mind.”
While Cooley “absolutely” would listen if a team called, but also acknowledged that the idea “seems far-fetched to anybody else.”
