Mark Berman reports that the Packers are bringing in undrafted rookie WR Derrick Griffin for a workout on Tuesday.
Green Bay will begin OTAs on Tuesday, so it wouldn’t be surprising to hear that there are other players trying out for them tomorrow.
Griffin, 23, wound up going undrafted out of Texas Southern last month. He played both football and basketball at Texas Southern and averaged 12.7 points-per-game, 11 rebounds-per-game, and 1.8 blocks per game over the course of two years and 40 games.
As for his football career, Griffin caught 43 passes for 824 yards receiving (19.2 YPR) and 12 touchdowns over the course of 12 games.
