Packers Working Out TE Kellen Winslow

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Packers are bringing in veteran TE Kellen Winslow for a workout on Sunday.

According to Rapoport, Winslow is attempting to get back into the league and this will be his first visit with an NFL team.

It’s interesting that the Packers are working out a tight, but free agent addition Jared Cook is still on the active/PUP list with a foot injury.

Winslow, 33, is a former first-round pick of the Browns back in 2004. He spent four years in Cleveland before joining the Buccaneers in 2009. Since then, he’s played for the Seahawks, Patriots and Jets.

In 2015, In 2013, Winslow appeared in 12 games and recorded 31 receptions for 388 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
