Packers WR Jordy Nelson “Longshot” To Play In Week 15, Expect To Have Clay Matthews

Green Bay Packers head coach Mike McCarthy mentioned on Thrusday that WR Jordy Nelson is a “longshot” to play against the Bears this weekend, via the Packers twitter feed.

Nelson aggravated his hamstring injury two weeks ago, but the Packers have plenty of talent at receiver to get by without him this weekend.

McCarthy added that they are planning on having OLB Clay Matthews available for the game, but admitted that tomorrow will be a big test for him.

One other note regarding the Packers; Charles Woodson did not practice on Thursday due to doctors holding him out and is not expected to play against Chicago.
