Patriots, Colts, Bucs, Browns & Falcons In The Mix For DE Adrian Clayborn

Vaughn McClure of ESPN is reporting that the Patriots, Colts, Buccaneers, Browns and Falcons all appear to be in the mix to sign free agent DE Adrian Clayborn.

Clayborn, 28, is a former first-round pick of the Buccaneers back in 2011. He played out the first year of his two-year, $9 million contract and made a base salary of $3.75 million for the 2017 season.

Clayborn is testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent and is one of the best available pass rushers.

In 2016, Clayborn appeared in 13 games for the Falcons and recorded 22 tackles, 4.5 sacks and a fumble recovery returned for a touchdown. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 56 edge rusher out of 109 qualifying players.

We have him featured in our Top 100 – 2018 NFL Free Agents list.
