Patriots & Giants Interested In WR Marcus Easley

Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle, citing league sources, reports that the Patriots and Giants among the teams interested in former Bills WR Marcus Easley.

This is the first reported interest in Easley since he was released last March.

Easley, 30, is a former fourth-round pick of the Bills back in 2010. He spent his first two years on injured reserve but rebounded and managed to become a solid special teams contributor for the Bills.

Easley was in the second year of his four-year, $7 million contract that included $2.2 million guaranteed when the Bills designated him as a post-June 1 release last March.

Easley’s 2015 season came to an end after he suffered a dislocated his kneecap and broke his knee in three different places. He appeared in 13 games for the Bills and recording one reception for 58 yards receiving and a touchdown that season.
