The Patriots’ practice squad now consists of:

Beavers, 23, is a former fourth-round pick of the Vikings back in 2016. He signed a four-year, $2.87 million contract with the team but wound up being among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

The Vikings later signed him to their practice squad and eventually promoted him to their active roster last season. In 2016, Beavers was active for two games.

During his college career at Western Michigan, Beavers was a three-year starter and a first-team All-MAC as a senior.
