Patriots Signing WR/KR Bernard Reedy To Practice Squad

Greg Auman reports that the Patriots are signing WR/KR Bernard Reedy to their practice squad on Tuesday after he officially passed through waivers unclaimed.

The Patriots’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. OL James Ferentz
  2. WR Cody Hollister
  3. DB David Jones
  4. DB Damarius Travis
  5. CB Ryan Lewis
  6. DB Jomal Wiltz
  7. TE Will Tye
  8. NT Mike Purcell
  9. LB Geneo Grissom
  10. WR/KR Bernard Reedy

Reedy, 25, originally signed on with the Falcons as an undrafted free agent out of Toledo back in 2014. He was unfortunately among their roster cuts at the start of the 2015 season and eventually signed a future/reserve contract with the Buccaneers.

Reedy was able to make the 53-man roster coming out of the preseason, but the Buccaneers elected to move on from him a few weeks ago.

In 2017, Reedy has appeared in nine games for the Buccaneers and caught two passes for 21 yards receiving to go along with 17 yards rushing and no touchdowns. He’s totaled 145 kick return yards and 143 punt return yards.
