Report: Pierre Garcon Should Be Available To Play Against Philadelphia

In the opinion of an ESPN Radio 980 source, Redskins WR Pierre Garcon will play against the Eagles this weekend.

There’s been some speculation throughout the week that Garcon had at least a decent chance of suiting up for Sunday’s game. Still, Garcon is hampered the foot injury that he has been dealing with since the Week 1 of the season. It’s hard to imagine him being anywhere near 100 percent, but Washington could use whatever help they can get at receiver, so we’ll have to see how he holds up if does indeed play.

Chris Russell of ESPN Radio 980 reports that a team source has informed him that WR Pierre Garcon‘s chances of playing against the Eagles this weekend are “better than you think.”

Garcon has been limited to playing in just three games this season because of a foot injury. He’s been trying to avoid undergoing surgery, which would end up costing him the remainder of the season, but there’s no guarantee that he’ll be effective upon returning to the team.

Losing Garcon has had an impact on the Redskins passing game, so there’s still a decent enough chance that having him back will improve their offensive production.
