Rams Activate WR Mike Thomas From PUP List, Waive/Injured WR Bradley Marquez

The Los Angeles Rams announced Monday that they’ve activated WR Mike Thomas from the PUP list and waived WR Bradley Marquez with an injury designation.

Should Marquez pass through waivers unclaimed, he would revert to the team’s injured reserve list on Tuesday.

Thomas was suspended for the first four games of the season for violating NFL policy on performance enhancing substances.

Thomas, 22, was taken in the sixth-round of last year’s NFL draft by the Rams. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $2.45 million rookie contract and stands to make base salaries of $540,000 (2017), $630,000 (2018), and $720,000 (2019) over the remainder of the contract.

In 2016, Thomas appeared in 15 games for the Rams and caught just three passes for 37 yards receiving and no touchdowns. He added another 180 kick return yards. Pro Football Focus has him down for playing 105 total snaps last season.
