Rams Re-Sign WR Kenny Britt To A Two-Year Deal Worth Close To $14M

Ian Rapoport of NFL Media reports that the Rams are re-signing WR Kenny Britt to a two-year deal worth up to almost $14 million and includes $4.3 million guaranteed.

Previous reports had said that the Rams were likely to re-sign Britt at some point in the near future, and the receiver made it clear not too long ago that he would like to remain in St. Louis.

“I definitely want to come back here,” Britt said, via the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “This is a young team. It’s a great young team. They’ve just scratched the surface on what their abilities could be. They’re growing each day, and they’re growing each year.

“I’ve only been here one year, so to see how they’ve grown from OTAs to now is just amazing. So I want to see ’em grow even more. I hope I can be a part of that.

Britt, 26, appeared in all 16 games for the Rams and caught 48 passes for 748 yards receiving and three touchdowns in 2014. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 36 receiver out of 110 qualifying players this past season.

We had Britt listed as the No. 59 player in our Top 100 Free Agents list.
