Rams Worked Out Three Receivers

According to Howard Balzer, the Los Angeles Rams brought in three free agent receivers for workouts on Tuesday including Kolby Listenbee, Fred Brown and Jordan Payton.

Brown, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Mississippi State back in May. He was set to make base salaries of $465,000 and $555,000 over the first two years of the contract when the Colts cut him loose coming out of the preseason and later signed him to their practice squad.

Brown was released from the Colts’ practice squad a few weeks ago.

During his college career at Mississippi State, Brown caught 50 passes for 785 yards receiving and five touchdowns over the course of three seasons and 23 games.
