The Baltimore Ravens announced Thursday that they’ve placed RB Jeremy Langford on injured reserve and signed RB John Crockett to their practice squad.

The Ravens’ practice squad now consists of:

  6. Ronald Martin
  7. RB Jeremy Langford (Injured)

Langford, 25, was taken with the No. 106 overall pick in the fourth round of last year’s NFL draft by the Bears. He was in the second year of his four-year, $3.139 million rookie contract and set to make a base salary of $615,000 for the 2017 season when the Bears cut him loose coming out of the preseason.

The Ravens signed Langford to their practice squad soon and he’s been on and off of the unit ever since.

In 2016, Langford appeared in all 16 games for the Bears and recorded 62 rushing attempts for 200 yards (3.2 YPC).
