Ravens Remove DE Brent Urban From Short-Term I.R.

The Baltimore Ravens announced Monday that they’ve removed DE Brent Urban from the short-term injured reserve list.

Even though Urban has been activated and will take part in their Monday practice, he still may not be available to suit up for the game against the Jaguars.

Urban, 24, wound up sustained a torn biceps back in August, and the initial belief was that it could be a season-ending injury. However, the Ravens ultimately got some good news regarding the severity of his biceps injury.

Urban is in the third year of his four-year, $2.52 million rookie contract that included a $300,584 signing bonus. He stands to make a base salary of $435,000 for the 2015 season.

Last year, he was forced to miss the entire 2014 season after he suffered a torn ACL in his right knee.
