Ravens Waive Four Players Including WR Marlon Brown

The Baltimore Ravens placed four players on waivers Friday including WR Marlon Brown, who was released with a failed physical designation, according to Jeff Zrebiec.

The other players cut loose include: DB Jermaine Whitehead, DB Nick Perry and DE Nordly Capi.

Brown, 25, wound up signing on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of Georgia back in 2013. The Ravens elected to not tender him a restricted offer, but later re-signed him to a one-year, $675,000 contract back in March.

Unfortunately, Brown’s 2015 season ended after he suffered a back in during Week 11 and was subsequently placed on season-ending injured reserve.

In 2015, Brown appeared in 10 games for the Ravens and recorded 14 receptions for 112 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
