Redskins Bringing In Veteran DL Cullen Jenkins For Workout

Former TE Chris Cooley of ESPN 980 is reporting that the Redskins are bringing in veteran DL Cullen Jenkins for a workout this week.

This is the first reported interest in Jenkins since the free agent market opened back in March.

Jenkins, 35, began his NFL career with in Green Bay where he played seven years for the Packers. Jenkins departed for the Eagles in 2011 and later signed on with the Giants as an unrestricted free agent back in 2013.

Last year, Jenkins appeared in all 16 games for the Giants and recorded 26 tackles, three sacks, and two pass defenses. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 103 interior defender out of 123 qualifying players.
