The Washington Redskins announced several roster moves on Tuesday including placing S DeAngelo Hall on injured reserve with a torn ACL.
Other moves from the Redskins include:
- Signing C John Sullivan and OL Vinston Painter.
- Placing C Kory Lichtensteiger on injured reserve.
- Signing CB Tye Smith to their practice squad.
- Waiving LB Amarlo Herrera from their practice squad.
Hall, 32, is in the third year of his four-year, $17 million contract that includes $5.4 million guaranteed and stands to make base salaries of $4.25 million over the next two years.
This season, Hall has appeared in three games and recorded 16 tackles, no interceptions and a pass defense for the Redskins. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 50 safety out of 82 qualifying players.
