Redskins Waive Three Players From I.R. With Settlements Including OLB Lynden Trail

The Washington Redskins announced Thursday that they’ve waived TE E.J. Bibbs, LB Ron Thompson Jr. and LB Lynden Trail from injured reserve with injury settlements.

Trail, 26, originally signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Norfolk State back in 2015, He was waived coming out of the preseason with an injury designation and was later cut with an injury settlement.

Trail had brief stints with the Redskins and Rams before returning to Washington towards the end of last year. Unfortunately, the Redskins waived him with an injury designation last weekend and he later reverted to their injured reserve list.

In 2016, Trail appeared in two games for the Redskins and recorded two tackles and no sacks.
