Report: Bills Gauging Trade Interest In OL Kraig Urbik

Jason La Canfora reports that the Buffalo Bills are gauging trade interest in veteran OL Kraig Urbik.

Reports earlier in the day mentioned that the Bills are still looking for a backup quarterback and they have already announced the release of Jordan Palmer.

However, they could be looking for draft compensation in return for Urbik, but that’s purely speculation on my part.

Urbik, 28, is entering the third year of his five-year, $16.26 million contract and is set to make $2.275 million for the 2014 season. After that, he has base salaries of $2.575 million in 2015 and $2.9 million in 2016 coming his way.

We’ll have more as the news is available regarding this topic.
