Report: Steelers Agree To Terms With RB LeGarrette Blount

Aaron Wilson reports that the Steelers have reached an agreement with RB LeGarrette Blount on a two-year contract.

The Patriots were reportedly interested in re-signing Blount, but recent reports mentioned that the Steelers could be more aggressive in their pursuit of Blount now that they missed out on Maurice Jones-Drew.

Blount, 27, did enjoy some success with New England last year, rushing for 772 yards on 5.0 yards per carry, and seven touchdowns.  He also accumulated 1,007 yards and six touchdowns for the Buccaneers as a rookie, despite being signed as an undrafted free agent by Tennessee.

We had him listed as the No. 23 best available player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
