Reprot: Von Miller’s Suspension Wasn’t Triggered By A Positive Drug Test

Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports, via a source, that Broncos LB Von Miller suspension wasn’t triggered by  failing a drug test.

Confirming a previous report by USA Today, Kilis’ NFL source added that Miller’s suspension wasn’t caused by taking performance-enhancing or recreational drugs this year.

Due to Miller having already been in the league’s drug program for a positive drug test during his rookie season, this second violation could have resulted from not showing up or arriving late to either a drug test or counseling session.

As of now, Miller has publicly made it known that he will appeal his suspension and expectes the ruling to ultimately be overturned.
