Rob Gronkowski Could Retire To Pursue Acting Career

Ian Rapoport says that people close to Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski there’s a “strong possibility” he retires this offseason and possibly pursue an acting career.

According to Rapoport, the WWE could also have interest in Gronkowski, but it’s more likely he tries to become an actor.

Rapoport explains that the number of injuries Gronkowski has dealt with other years along with the decreased production could lead to him calling it a career.

Gronkowski, 29, is a former second-round pick of the Patriots back in 2010. He is in the sixth year of his eight-year, $55.23 million contract that included $13.17 million guaranteed.

In 2018, Gronkowski appeared in 13 games for the Patriots and recorded 47 receptions for 682 yards receiving (14.5 YPC) and scored three touchdowns.

We’ll have more regarding Gronkowski as the news is available.
