Rob Gronkowski Taking A “Wait-And-See” Regarding A Fourth Surgery On His Forearm

Mike Reiss of ESPN Boston mentions that it’s still being determined whether or not Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski will need a fourth surgery on his left forearm.

According to sources, Gronkowski is still a couple of weeks away from having a definite answer as to whether or not his forearm will require another surgery to eliminate an infection that’s been dealing with.

Reiss adds that the last month has essentially been more of a “wait-and-see” period in hopes that Gronkowski’s system would be able to clear the infection. Gronkowski has reportedly participated in the Patriots offseason conditioning program and a source mentioned that he’s “looking great.”

This is at least a positive sign for Gronkowski as it seemed as though there was a decent chance that he may not be available for the start of the regular season.
