Jay Glazer reports that CB Ronde Barber has re-signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Glazer adds that the Buc’s left this decision up to him and were willing to have him back if that was something that he wanted.
Barber, who will be 37 in April, has decided keep playing despite the fact that Buccaneers have a new coaching staff in place. Tampa Bay is still a very young team so having Barbers leadership back for another is probably a great thing for this team.
The Buc’s recently signed Eric Wright but Aquib Talib could be facing a suspension so having some additional talent at cornerback should really help, even if Barber isn’t exactly the player that he once was.
