The Seattle Seahawks announced Monday that they’ve re-signed LB Paul Dawson and exclusive rights free agents Joey Hunt, DE Branden Jackson and LS Tyler Ott.
Dawson, 25, is a former third-round pick of Bengals back in 2015. He was in the second year of his four-year, $2.896 million contract when the Bengals waived him at the start of the 2016 season and later signed him to their practice squad.
Dawson was on and off of the Bengals’ practice squad before catching on with the Seahawks in November of last year. Seattle declined to tender Dawson a restricted offer, making him an unrestricted free agent.
In 2017, Dawson appeared in three games for the Seahawks and recorded three tackles.
