A source tells Gee Scott of 710 ESPN that the Seahawks have released veteran FB Marcel Reece as they cut their roster down to 53 players.
Reece, 32, originally signed on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Washington back in 2009. He played seven seasons for the Raiders before he was cut loose by the Raiders last year.
The Seahawks signed him to a contract in December of last year and he finished out the year in Seattle. Reece returned to the Seahawks this past July.
In 2016, Reece appeared in four games and caught five passes for 73 yards receiving and no touchdowns.
