Seahawks Sign WR Malachi Dupre To P-Squad, Release RB Troymaine Pope

The Seattle Seahawks officially signed WR Malachi Dupre to their practice squad on Tuesday and released RB Troymaine Pope from the unit.

Here’s the Seahawks updated practice squad:

  1. QB Alex McGough
  2. WR Caleb Scott
  3. G Jordan Roos
  4. T Elijah Nkansah
  5. DB Simeon Thomas
  6. WR Keenan Reynolds
  7. DB Justin Currie
  8. DB Jeremy Boykins
  9. LB Emmanuel Ellerbee
  10. WR Malachi Dupre

Dupre, 23, is a former seventh-round pick of the Packers back in 2017. He was, unfortunately, cut loose coming out of the preseason by Green Bay.

The Bills later signed Dupre to their practice squad before eventually promoting him to their active roster towards the end of the season. Buffalo waived him this past September and he has been on and off of the Texans’ practice squad ever since.

During his college career at LSU, Dupre caught 98 passes for 1,609 yards receiving and 14 touchdowns over the course of 31 games.
