Seahawks WR Tyler Lockett was carted off the field after he sustaining a leg during Sunday’s game against the Cardinals.Ā The medical staff placed an aircast on Lockett’s leg before he was taken off the field.

This was a really ugly injury for Lockett, as you could see that he clearly sustained a leg fracture.

Based on video of the play, David Chao mentions that he may have a right tibia and fibula injury that will likely end his 2016 season.

This would be a big loss for the Seahawks’ offense, as Lockett has been one of their best offensive weapons this season.

Lockett, 24, is a former third-round pick of the Seahawks back in 2015. He’s in the second year of his four-year, $3.318 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $525,000 and $615,000 over the next two years.

Entering today’s game, Lockett had caught 39 passes for 559 yards receiving to go along with six rushing attempts for 114 yards and two total touchdowns. He also contributed 578 kick return yards and another 236 punt return yards over the course of 14 games.
