Steelers Sign Third-Round Pick WR Sammie Coates

The Pittsburgh Steelers announced the signing of third-round pick WR Sammie Coates on Friday.

The Steelers could really have an impressive receiver corps in the coming years, as Coates gives them another receiver with good size to go along with Pro Bowler Antonio Brown and Martavis Bryant, who also offers plenty of size.

Pittsburgh is close to locking up their entire 2015 draft class with seventh-round pick S Gerod Holliman still unsigned.

According to OverTheCap.com, Coates is projected to receive a four-year contract worth $2,919,372, which includes a signing bonus of $639,372.

During his three years at Auburn, Coates caught 82 passes for 1,757 yards receiving and 13 touchdowns.
